Do not allow liquid to enter the pump. Where moisture, dust, or particles may be present, add suitable filtration or separation components before the pump.
What Applications Is This Mini Compressor Vacuum Pump Suitable For?
1. OEM Pressure and Pneumatic Equipment
The BD-08A-D is suitable for pressure generation, pneumatic equipment, inflation systems, and other OEM applications requiring relatively high airflow.
Choose the 2, 5, or 7 bar configuration according to the required maximum pressure and the required flow at the actual working pressure.
Do not estimate inflation time directly from the 80 L/min free-flow value. Tubing, valves, filters, system volume, leakage, and target pressure all affect actual performance.
2. Vacuum and Air-Extraction Equipment
The BD-08V-D is suitable for chamber evacuation, vacuum generation, suction, packaging equipment, and air-extraction systems.
Actual evacuation time depends on chamber volume, required vacuum, pump flow at that vacuum level, tubing size, filters, valves, leakage, and other system restrictions.
The 70 L/min free-flow rating therefore does not represent the flow available at –85 kPa.
How Do I Choose the Right DC Piston Air Pump or Vacuum Pump?
Select the pump according to the required flow at the target pressure or vacuum.
Confirm that the power supply can support both rated and starting current.
Confirm the required ON/OFF duty cycle and operating temperature.
Use the brushed version when cost and high pneumatic output are priorities and approximately 1,000 hours of reference motor life is suitable.
Evaluate a brushless piston pump when longer service life or more demanding duty cycles are required.

1. Vacuum Packaging Machine
A compact vacuum packaging machine used the BD-08V-D for a 6 L vacuum chamber with a target vacuum of approximately –70 kPa. The pneumatic system used 8 mm tubing, an inlet filter, a vacuum sensor, and automatic sealing control. The BD-08V-D provides up to 70 L/min free flow and –85 kPa maximum vacuum, giving the system strong initial evacuation capacity while maintaining sufficient vacuum for the final sealing stage.
